If you found yourself in an active shooter event, would you know what to do? Active shooter situations are dynamic, rapidly evolve, and often are over before emergency responders arrive at the scene. Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (C.R.A.S.E.) training provides strategies, guidance, and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, civilian response options, medical issues, and considerations for conducting drills.
The 2-hour training session will be followed by a Q&A period. The C.R.A.S.E. training is provided free to all community members. The content is appropriate for adults; please do not bring children.
