Welcome to First Franklin Kids! We are honored to come alongside parents to teach our youngest kiddos, from birth through 6th grade, about the love of Jesus. Our heart is to create a safe & fun environment for children to flourish!
SUNDAYS • 9:00 & 10:30 AM
For kids from birth through 6th grade, we offer Sunday morning worship & Bible studies at both 9:00 & 10:30 AM (mirrored programming). Enter the Kids’ Hangout Area through the guest entrance just off Main Street. One of our volunteers will be glad to help you through registration and check-in. Free time in the Kids’ Hangout Area is followed by announcements, kid-led worship, and small group Bible study lessons. This semester, we are walking through the major events of the Old Testament using the Word in Motion Old Testament curriculum through Apologia.
While we love having your kids with us on Sunday mornings, please know that all ages are ALWAYS welcome to attend the main worship service in the Worship Center across the street.
WEDNESDAYS • 6:00-7:15 PM
Wednesday evenings at First Franklin are the BOMB! Your kids will have a blast as we sing, dance, play games, and learn about Jesus! Drop-off begins at 5:45 in the Kids’ Hangout Area.

As the Kids Director at First Franklin since 2020, it's safe to say that no two days have been the same for Ashley Cates! From working on lesson plans to organizing community events to touching base with families throughout the week, every day brings something new. Her favorite part about ministry is the KIDS - their questions, funny conversations, and watching their faith grow.
